David J Ansell was brought up in the seaside resort of Fleetwood in Lancashire. With a natural ability for drawing Ansell was awarded a place at the Harris School of Art in Preston. David J Ansell’s paintings are drawn from memory and imagination and are a snapshot of a bygone era.
